These terms apply to the booking and performance of escape-room games, mobile escape games and other leisure events provided by The Great Escape GmbH.

Scope and service
These terms become part of the contract upon confirmed booking, voucher purchase or written agreement of a special event. The objective of a regular game is to solve the challenges within the scheduled game time, normally 60 minutes.
Booking and payment
A booking becomes binding upon confirmation. The agreed service must generally be paid in full before use unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Changes and cancellation
Changes or cancellations must be made in writing. Private customers may do so up to 48 hours before the appointment and corporate customers up to seven days before. Afterwards, the agreed booking price may remain due. Late arrival may shorten the game; substantial delay may mean the game cannot take place.

Vouchers
Vouchers apply to the service or value shown. Cash redemption is excluded. Unless a longer period is stated, vouchers issued by us expire at the end of the third full calendar year following the year of issue.
Safety and age
Rooms can be left at any time in an emergency; leaving early normally ends participation. Minors may participate according to the published age rules and, where required, only with adult supervision. Guests must assess health restrictions responsibly and observe room-specific notices.
No right of withdrawal for scheduled leisure events
Under § 312g(2)(9) German Civil Code, contracts for leisure activities on a fixed date generally carry no right of withdrawal.

Liability
We have unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence affecting an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to the foreseeable, typical loss. We accept no custody of clothing or valuables.
Conduct on site
Photo, video and audio recording inside game rooms is prohibited without written permission. Eating, drinking and smoking are not permitted in the event area. Phones, laser pointers and personal torches may not be used in game rooms. Instructions from the game master must be followed. A person causing damage intentionally or through gross negligence is liable for it.
Video monitoring
Game rooms and publicly accessible areas may be monitored for safety and game-management purposes. Under the existing policy, security recordings are stored locally for no more than 30 days unless an incident requires longer preservation.
Dispute resolution and final provisions
The Great Escape GmbH is neither willing nor obliged to participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If one provision is invalid, the remaining provisions stay effective.
